HC Hitchcock says he works in twosomes not threesomes when making lines. He mentioned Benn and Seguin, Spezza and Janmark, and Hanzal and Faska as pairs with the rest of the lineup sorting itself out. He also commented on how he only carries 6 Dmen but if the team decides to carry more then it will be the 6 to play the majority of the season. Personally I think you have to try Rad with Benn-Seguin, as well Roussel coupled with Faksa and Hanzal can make a dangerous two-way line that can score, hit, play strong defence, and win face-offs. Ritichie with Spezza and Janmark to me makes sense cuz Brett can play that grinder/power forward role while Spezza makes plays with Janmark as the main goal scorer on that line. On D I think trying Methot-Klingberg is the way to go but should it not work then I would turn to Lindell-Klingberg as they did work fairly well together considering their experience. Sticking to the former, Hamhuis-Johns and some combination of either Lindell-Honka-Big Rig as the bottom pair. This last one will depend on how Honka does out of training camp.
