Description
Separate the wheat from the chaff. 17-18 might hurt but it'd be manageable

Even if you disagree with signing a particular player, the contract expenditures aren't going to change much.

Would likely need to replace Bonino in 17-18. Have to trade one of Cole / Dumolin / Pouilot or risk losing them for nothing.

Nice job of picking up Weber. I think the Rangers should go after him next summer depending on their situation. I think he's somewhat underrated, and he probably will play on a cheap(ish) contract once he hits free agency during the summer. Good puck mover

Thank you. I agree. Overall VAN's defense has been much better than I expected this year and I think Weber is a big part of that. Spot on evaluation and I agree he'll be a hot commodity this off season.

Dumo and Pouliot are still RFAs so they won't walk for nothing. Should be easy resigns.

Easy if the team has the cap space to do it. That's why I'd advise trading Cole. To free up the $.
