Doesn't make sense from CBJ standpoint...
Duchene (18G / 23A / 41P) & 3rd pairing defenceman in Barrie (7G / 31A / 38P) with very spotty defence skills for Anderson (17G / 12A / 29P), Atkinson (35G / 27A / 62P), Carlsson & a 2nd.
Colorado has to do something - they were in the cellar last year and Duchene definitely wants OUT.
CBJ on the other hand not sure taking on these 2 makes the team better, especially with what we would be giving up.

On a side note, Anderson's agent must look really bad right now - he also represents Athanasou, and the top 2 RFAs are not signed...both have same age, statistics from last year (including the same point total).

Barrie will take over Johnson's spot next year. Barrie had more points on a worse team than Johnson and Savard. The person that will sting is Cam and I feel he can be replaced and the jackets should already trade him before they give him a regrettable contract. With adding Barrie Jackets def is more balanced out.

Duchene is better than cam and younger.
