5/5 because you have the right idea on how to fix the Rangers. My only criticism is the Nyquist trade. Detroit would never give him up.

I know there's been a lot of talk of the oilers trading the 16 for Talbot, But I can't see them doing it, not unless there was another piece. I would do the 33rd and say a higher pick as well if that got the deal done.

That Klein/Hagelin for Abdelkader/Nyquist trade would never happen. I also would be very surprised Talbot went for the 16th because in the end, teams know he played behind one of the best defenses in the league and he's going to a team that will certainly not have that. Also not sure why you have McIlrath over Skjei, because McIlrath is terribad.

Mcilrath only because he does not have waivers to be sent down. I understand that talbot may not get the 16th that's why I added the 3rd. I guess I underrated nyqvist sorry bad trade on my part.

I agree with you about the value of Talbot. He looks promising but the Oilers have plenty to choose from which gives them more bargaining power. Corey Schneider got the 9th overall pick but he was much more established as an NHL goalie and had a higher potential being a 1st round pick and all. All that along with this being such a deep draft, 16th overall seems too steep for a goalie with only 50 something games who played in front of a really good defense. He looks like a solid goalie but it seems more likely that he'll get the Rangers 33 unless there is someone on the board that Edmonton really likes.
