Because everyone apparently hates these two

Created by: ngikas
Team: 2017-18 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 9, 2017
Published: Nov. 9, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This is not a realist situation, only doing this because people have been all over these two. Both guys would have to waive their NMC and chances are nobody’s taking on their contracts, just a hypothetical situation to show the value these two hold on the the team

Trading Rask makes sense to me. He underpefroms every year since his Vezina winning year. The only problem is waving the NMC. He would do it to go to a contender or a team that will contend soon. Maybe Calgary or Winnipeg who have goalie problems

Both of those teams have top 10 SV%s... You know that their goalies have been playing well lately, right?

I don’t want to move either of them honestly, they may be a little over paid but everybody in Boston for some reason hates both of them. The way this team plays in front of tuukka he’s kept them in games. He may have only 1 or 2 games this year with 2 goals against or less but the way they’re playing we’re lucky his not letting in 4, 5, 6 goals a night

When krug, and Miller are playing top 4 minutes you can’t expect tuukka to look good, the defense is a real problem, they need to add a top 4 LHD if they expect to be competive this year

I don't understand the hate for Tuuk's. The guy is getting very little goal support and the defense has been terrible. So many games they leave him out to dry with breakaway's and odd man rushes. In 7 of his 10 starts, the B's have scored 2 goals or less. That doesn't leave a lot of room for error on Rask's part. Up until these past two games where they scored a combined 7 goals, Rask was getting a goal support around 1.8 G/GP. Now he's let in some soft ones this year, but every goalie does form time to time. For every softies he's had, he's made 2-3 saves to even keep the team in the game.
