I agree this is a bad trade for chicago. They need defensive help and that will likely be addressed at the trade deadline. Also the young defence will develop throughout the year and should see some improvement.

As with the other comment. Panik is a cheap skilled player who compliments Toews. He is definitely worth keeping.
