Personally, I think that there is no way this happens ever. But fun to think about. No clue how this could work cap wise. But Bergevin better be ready to put himeself in the trade, because if he doesn’t, he’s probably gone. Not because it’s not a good trade for Montreal, but because he’s traded Carey Price. ? Good luck. Maybe throw in Bergevin and Sekera on each side.

This would be by far a steal for MTL, they land a 1st line center while only downgrading goalies (from the best in the world to an elite goaltender)

Unless mtl retains some cap on price this won't go through. Contract is too large for a goalie over 30, even though price is one of the best in the game. Coming from a fan of a team that has lundqvist, teams have won without top tier goaltending but high offensive prowess meanwhile teams with great goaltending don't always win
