I really cant see Kasper going that high as much as I like him. If McGroarty is available the Leafs will take him

Kasper seems like someone Ottawa would go off the board for. Their drafting decisions in recent years haven’t really been the best for the most part and until proven otherwise I don’t see that changing this year. As for the Leafs, they just seem like a team who’s gonna make a pick this year that no fan is gonna be happy with even though RHD is clearly their biggest need.

I really like Ty Nelson and wouldn't be opposed to the pick. It's just thats he's an offensively oriented defenseman and we have a lot of those. I think Nelson is further out then a guy like Niemela and between Niemela and Liljegren we are fine. McGroarty would be perfect for the Leafs with his size and skill if he's available at 25 which seems unlikely
