His impact is immense however. He plays with a presence.
Especially proficient at winning puck battles in the hard areas of the ice. Extends plays along the wall. When he doesn't have the puck he works extremely hard to win it back.
Not physically punishing ... but hard to play against. He doesn't run people over but he never goes away.
Provides a second layer of offense. Has the ability, and hockey sense, to be used in a variety of roles.
