Braden Holtby Scouting Reports

Reports: 1
Powered By
The Pro Hockey Group
Note: Reports prior to Sept 2023 were originally graded out of ten, and also included additional categories that have been merged into the current categories.
This likely results in the overall ratings prior to 2023 being decreased in comparison to reports since Sept 2023.

For an `Apples to Apples` comparison between players, we recommend only comparing reports before, or after, Sept 2023.
Results will average out accordingly as more data is accumulated.

Projection: Backup
Trending: Flat
Limited amount of starts since January 30th. A .500 goalie with 2.78 GAA and .913 save %
Butterfly goalie. Tracks well. Lateral quickness is better moving to his left. Moving right he is not as powerful. Plays at the top of his crease. Challenges shooter. Swallows pucks from range. Rebound control is generally sound. Gloves and high net coverage are average plus.
He's not going to steal many games but he's a veteran option at the deadline with winning pedigree.
