Aggressive with the puck on his stick. When he gets a look at the net he has a 'shoot first' approach. Credited with 93 SOG in the 37GP.
Although his minutes are down he still plays a valuable role. A pesky player who isn't shy about hanging around the crease. Gets under the skin of opponents. Tenacious, not overly physical. Only 18 hits and 13 shot blocks.
A lot of miles on his tires but a player the younger prospects can look up to in Montreal. Competes shift in and shift out. Impact is beginning to range.

When he isn't producing offense he contributes in other areas with his aggressive style of forechecking and battling in the hard areas.
His production, however, is falling off and his durability will potentially become a concern as he continues into his 30's
