AVG TOI (19:17) Used ES and on the PK. He does see some secondary PP in Chicago.
On the PK he gets in the lane and will block shots occasionally. At ES he will gap up and try to kill zone entries. Off the rush he is capable of pushing the play to the perimeter and bumping up along the wall. Not a punishing player but he does have some push back when required.
Rarely adds a dangerous element offensively. He will direct pucks to the net from range but cannot be described as a threat. There are nights of uneven detail and execution. Best suited in depth role. Could add to a contending team as a #5. Expiring contract. 2-way D

    All situations in Chicago. Averaging over 19:00 TOI. On the PK he gets in the lane and blocks shots occasionally. Gaps up on his blue line. His off the rush defending is mostly sound. He angles players to the perimeter and uses his reach to impede lane to his net. Not a punishing player / heavy hitter. He's a bumper. Pucks to the net from distance but don't count on much offense. He will join as an extra layer off the rush at times. There are nights his puck play / execution could be be better. Best suited as a #5.
