Carson Rehkopf Scouting Reports

Before leaving for Team Canada training camp - and the WJC - Rehkopf was enjoying a break out season at the OHL level. He had scored 31G-24A in 31GP
The Seattle Kraken second round pick (50th) in 2023 ... Rehkopf can be a threat off the rush. He handles the puck very well and uses his reach to shield pucks from opponents.
When he has the play on his stick in high danger areas he has a quick/accurate release.
His three-zone effort - especially off the puck - has improved immensely this season.
For his stature he's not overly physical, but his range allows him to corral pucks and create turnovers.

Brings a package of size and skill when his motor is running
Off the rush he can attack with decent pace and make plays via zone entries
When he gets the edge he can take the puck to the net and he is hard to defend with his length
Overall detail ranges - as does his compete - Has the skill set to impact the game more consistently than he does
His best shift is enticing - Leans top six scoring forward when he is on

Big body forward with skill - can be used in all situations but leans ES and PP #1
Once up to speed he has the pace to be a threat off the rush and beat opponents 1vs1 in the middle of the ice - or get the edge and use his long reach and frame to shield pucks as he goes to the net - Has potential to produce more than he does - some nights his detail and maximum effort ranges - projects to be a mix of power and finesse as a pro - significant upside -
