His first NHL training camp in Montreal went as well as could be expected.
He didn't look out of place on the smaller ice surface and played to his identity.
Brings sound three zone awareness. Sees the ice. Absorbs contact to make plays. Pinches down appropriately in the offensive zone. Has the size and length to keep opponents to the perimeter. Big. Strong. Smart. Right shot. Montreal doesn't have to rush him. They have a solid young group of defenceman on their roster already. He will be used in all situations playing for Kloten in the Swiss league. Continue to monitor and update throughout the season.
