He's the kind of player who can be deployed in a variety of roles.
Quillan plays quick and fast. He tracks up and down the entire 200ft. He scored several of his goals from between the hash marks in the middle of the offensive zone - and around the crease via tips and rebounds. A relentless competitor who extends plays along the boards and battles for positioning in the trenches.
Doesn't cut corners defensively. Rotates very well on the PK and jumps to loose pucks quickly.
No discernable holes in his game at the college level.
Projects as a solid third line NHL forward who plays with detail and could provide better than secondary offence.
