Big in the net. Has the quickness, and range moving side to side, to come up with the kind of saves others struggle to make. At times moody looking. No doubt he competes and cares - just in his own way. A change of scenery might benefit Gibson … but his $6.0M cap hit through 26/27 and 10 team no trade clause might stand in the way.

Gibson can be difficult to evaluate
The Ducks are a rebuilding outfit who give up more high danger chances against than the majority of NHL teams. Their goalies are generally under consistent duress and have to be the teams best player on a nightly basis. Some nights Gibson is up to the task. Other nights he looks defeated.
