Continues to play to his identity offensively in Major Junior but projects as a winger in NHL.
At the Buffalo Sabres Rookie Challenge (September) he had a difficult time finding space and pucks to attack off the rush. When he gets caught in traffic it severely limits his impact offensively. He is not a player who thrives when the game slows down.
At the Major Junior level in Winnipeg Savoie is a dynamic threat every night. When at his best this is a creative prospect who is competitive and can pick opponents a part on the PP.

Fun to watch. Elite skill. Puck on a string. Makes plays in tight areas. Has the speed and ability to drive the net off the rush when he gets the edge.
