High end competitor who is a bit of a throwback / old style NHL forward
Gets under the skin of opponents. Never quits on a play. Always involved.
Average plus skater. Not a high end threat off the rush. Best work comes from the hash marks down and around the net in the offensive zone. Quick hands. Catches pucks and makes timely plays. Bull dog out front the net. Hard to move. Team player. Willing to sacrifice for the good of the group. After back to back seasons scoring over 100 pts, he isn't scoring at the same rate in 23/24. Still directing pucks on net but his shooting % has dipped below 5% - which is the lowest in his career. Averages around 19:00 TOI - ES and PP#1

There are nights he crosses the line and can be a bit 'over the top' with his edginess, but there is not denying his value to team results overall. Averages over 19:00 TOI - ES and PP - rarely PK
