To start the 23/23 season he had an outstanding training camp in Detroit
Brings energy and compete - combined with vision and skill
Reads the play very well - above the puck when his team doesn't have possession in the offensive zone - tracks opponents and creates turnovers
Quick stick - has a plan with the puck - makes plays
Top 6 NHL forward on projection - Hockey IQ is sound -
Has added strength - resulting in more leverage and better quickness / bursts

Rangy centerman who is used all situations - leans offense - average plus defensively
Best work comes at ES and the PP.
On the PP he is crafty making plays from the half wall and middle bumper position - occasionally slides net front looking for tips and rebounds - has very good hand/eye coordination - makes sneaky plays in tight spaces -
Skating can go to another level but he arrives on time - Room for much more strength

Big - rangy - right shot center who plays a reliable three zone game
Down low in the offensive zone he uses his size and reach to extend plays along the boards and take pucks to the crease
Defensively he is aware - and again uses his length to his advantage
Good puck touch - not elite offensively but certainly well above average - can be used in a variety of roles - Top 6 NHL upside is possible
