In his first 47GP he produced 14G - 6A and was a (+13) defensively.
His competitive approach leads to second chances offensively - and extended zone time when he battles along the wall.
His scoring stats are impressive considering he doesn't have a special teams role and averages only 11:05 time on ice -
All 14 goals at even strength. Leans shooter / finisher / garbage collector / more than natural play maker.

Hoglander's entire game has gone to another level for an extended period of time.
Provides bottom six energy / compete / quickness / secondary scoring
Rarely used on a special teams unit. All of his scoring comes at ES.
Has the hockey sense, and now commitment, to be thrust into a variety of roles.
More than just a checker.

Undersize but stocky/strong
Quick to space.
As F1, on the forecheck, he has the ability to disrupt opponents and create turnovers. A middle / bottom six energy provider who could potentially provide secondary offense.
Sent to AHL to round out his game in (21/22). Produced offense and contributed reliable three zone detail and compete.
Earned a roster spot to start (23/24). Competing for more of a role. Has traditionally averaged just over 12:00 TOI but he's auditioning for a slot on the second PP unit to start a new season.
