He slots in as a 3F for now but he's trending 2F as he travels more miles in the NHL.
Players like this provide immense value to team results.
He's deployed in all situations. He has the skill and pace to transport the puck in transition and gain zone entries at even strength and the power-play. He goes to the hard areas to battle for position and extend plays.
In short, he's hard to play against. A bit of a throwback. Quick. Physical. High end compete. Makes life miserable for opponents.
Area of concern, early on, is his success rate in the face-off circle (42%)
Watch him closely though. He's net front on the PP and he finishes all his checks. If the Sens are going to graduate to be a playoff team, Greig will play a significant role.
