The fact he can be used up and down the lineup makes him an attractive prospect to monitor
A full season in the AHL is required to define his NHL upside

Used in all situations at the college level. Puck goes through him on the PP. Read/React on the PK is sound. Noticeably stronger. First three steps are average plus, but his open ice stride has lengthened. He's a powerful skater in open ice. Off the rush he wins his share of races to 50/50 pucks. When he gets the edge he takes the play to the net. On the penalty kill he pressures the play up ice. A solid point producing college player who plays the game the right way. He can be deployed, and trusted, in a variety of roles. Middle six NHL forward is possible. Requires time in the minors to begin.
