Has shown willingness to get in the shooting lanes to block shots. The kind of defenceman who leans 'Defensive D'. He's at his best when he keeps things simple with the puck to avoid turnovers. In his final ten segment to end the (22/23) season at North Dakota he produced (2g-2a), was deployed in all situations, matched up versus top six opponents, and averaged between (20:00 - 26:00) TOI. Plays to his identity. Big body with physical push back and long reach. Good skater for his stature. Gets in the shooting lanes. Blocks shots. Length and size keeps opponents to the perimeter effectively. Gaps up. Leans 2-way 'D' at the pro level with a mix of 'defensive D'. Simple is best, overall, with the puck.
