If you consider not falling backwards a win then yes they could win the lottery. Larkin turned down 8x8 when Horvat got traded.

Motown to Raleighwood
You know what I hate it but the thought of Jarvis does significantly soften the horror of a potential loss of a captain.
I do think he’s worth a little more than what amounts to Jarvis and a late late first though. Especially if an extension is worked out....
Please Steve, pay the man.

Because Sammy Cee is the GOAT. But yeah, this would be hilariously bad asset management by the Oilers.

Stop trolling dude! Under no circumstances are wild moving Marcus foligno, nor keeping money in dumba for cap dump..somehow you got the two 2nds wrong because it won't be Minnesota adding. Funny you think Minnesota trade you Marcus foligno whose not available, dumba, who Minnesota Keep money on and somehow Minnesota adds?

He's a cap dump and Minnesota has no need for d, mo matter what. Marcus foligno is also going nowhere

Edmonton isn't moving jp,yamo and bourgault within the same year that's incredibly silly.

Boston trade just makes zero sense for Edmonton.
Sorry I can't get behind any of this it's all way too far out of the realm of reality.

Who plays RW next year lol? Kane is a rental he will get rental prices.
Yamo And Bourgault are both likely off limits. jp + savoie are more likely trades.
Edmonton will need a puck transporting Dman a little better than kulak by trade deadline for second Pairing LD before they get kane.
I hear they are interested in Toews as well.

- Bert is a tough call. I'd say the length of the contract is fine because of the way he plays. But because of the way he plays, I'd give him $7,000,000.
- YES ON KASPAR! He'll be there and I'm pulling SO MUCH for Soderblom too! Wonder if Soderblom can play D lol</div></div>
Gudas is one of a small handful of players that epitomize what's wrong with the game - he's not "hardnosed", he's a ****ing scumbag who tries to hurt people. I would throw up seeing him in the Winged Wheel and could never root for him.
Bert will sign for at LEAST 6 years, probably 7, possibly 8... he's not taking 5. I agree with the AAV though, I think 7m is spot on. I'm not saying I WANT a longer term, just that's what I expect him to demand, if not here, somewhere else.

Foligno is a fine player, and I know he's an important part of team leadership, but if a team is offering you a top tier prospect & a 2023 1st for him, you move him out. He's a 31 year old, 25-30 point player being carried by completely unsustainable numbers - if someone is going to pay that kind of package at the height of his value, you'd be silly to pass on it.</div></div>
You clearly don't know who Marcus foligno is to wild. They aren't moving him short of a top 4 C. So no, a 1st, late at that and prospect isn't getting down. You have zero idea who Marcus foligno is to kaprizov either or Guerin or dean Evason. Marcus foligno is the heart beat of the team and wild aren't moving him short of overpayment

Hilarious that Minnesota fans think their 31 year old perennial 25 point 4th liner is worth more than a 1st and a high end prospect.

-I don't think teams are going to be lining up to take Foegele's deal, but i also don't think you need to sacrifice Puljujarvi *and* trade out of the 2024 1st rounder to get him off your cap. At the very least, you can do next summer what Minnesota did to shed Dmitry Kulikov this summer, and get a team with space to just take him for nothing.
-Vegas, hilariously, is literally already over the cap for 2023-24 with their current contract situation. I would be very surprised if they traded McNabb ($2.875M) for Barrie ($4.5M) without more cap going out. I think the package is acceptable, sure, but logistically I can't see the Knights having the room to do this as of now.
-Minnesota runs away with this deal before you can change your mind. Foligno is a fine player, and I know you're looking for more sandpaper with these deals, but he's literally a 35-40 point guy. His offensive spike the past two seasons is built on the back of an insane 24.6% shooting percentage that is, obviously, due for some regression. Giving up a 1st by itself is a lot, and throwing in one of your better prospects is just overkill. The Wild thank you for your service.
-There are probably a dozen AHL-level guys like O'Brien that you can sign for free and keep the pick if you want a face-puncher. Cody McLeod, Rich Clune, and Zac Rinaldo are all guys with NHL experience you could get for nothing. Bad type of player to spend a pick on, IMO.

Yeah Bill Armstrong is grossly overvaluing Jakob Chychrun, His value is nowhere near a blue chip prospect and 2 1st round picks that's equivalent to 3 1st round picks
