Retooling for a run
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bklentz21</b></div><div>I figured Bjorkstrand would give you guys someone who could break out and be a goal scorer you guys need. I also thought Jenner could give you guys some size and help at center. Plus giving you a pick too help with some more prospects</div></div>
If only this could actually happen lol

Blues with Panarin
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>J_Sand3rs</b></div><div>Because you're essentially throwing away a good crop of young guys, that could win multiple Cups, for one guy that gives you a chance at one Cup. I'd rather be a serious contender for the next 8 years than be a serious contender for 1 year and then on the fringe for the next 8 years.
A perfect example of this is what happened to Dallas in 1999. They traded away Jarome Iginla in 1995 for Joe Nieuwendyk. Nieuwendyk went on to play a big role in the 1999 Stanley Cup win for Dallas...but that's the only Cup they've won. If the Stars had kept Jarome Iginla they would have still been Stanley Cup contenders in '99, but they also would have had a better team, and been contenders throughout the early-mid 2000's as well. It's very possible that the Stars sacrificed multiple Cup runs for that one Stanley Cup in 1999.
Don't sacrifice a big piece of the Blues for the next 8 years for one potential Cup run.</div></div>
Dude I would trade 10-20 years in the lottery for one damn cup. Don’t give me that. Sustained success is great, but I’d trade it all for one cup in STL.

Blues with Panarin
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bklentz21</b></div><div>Okay. I don’t think Columbus is gonna get much for him unless he is open to an extension. I think the blues are really the only team that seem like he’d sign an extension with.
I straight forgot to resign him i was looking at the D and could tell something wasn’t right lol</div></div>
I would think that any team trying to trade for him would do so with the intent to extend him, no? If Panarin isn't going to sign an extension, I'm not sure I'd even try trading for him. It's going to cost way too much just to see him walk at the end of the season.

CBJ possibility to keep Panarin
That probably won't get it done. Florida probably wants to keep Dadonov anyway.

Blue Jackets post Panarin pt. 1
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bklentz21</b></div><div>I think he’d resign. He would have comfort with Tarasenko. And they’d light the league up together</div></div>
Probably, but no guarantee he resigns. Kyrou has a similar skill set, it's a giant "what if" scenario, but if he can provide similar play on a separate line it would be worth not doing

Who are Texier & Harrington? Looks like a fair deal for extended Panarin

Maybe a pick also. Like maybe this years/ next years to replace Colorado pick. or a 2020 pick so you guys could have an extra shot at lafreniere. Also wouldn’t be opposed too massive deal with Panarin involved like. What do you think that trade would like?</div></div>
Maybe something like
From OTT
Karlsson
2018 1st from pit
For
Panarin
Clb 1st 2019
Clb 2018 2nd
Maybe add some prospects in to even the value. What do you think?

CBJ 2018/19. (Thoughts on panarin deal)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bklentz21</b></div><div>Definitely. I think it’d be more difficult trying to find that straight up move so instead trying to have panarin fill more than 1 hole as compared to only one is out best option to get the best return</div></div>
Truly think this is going to be an entertaining draft, there’s a lot of players that could be moving

CBJ 2018/19. (Thoughts on panarin deal)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bklentz21</b></div><div>It’s not bad. Honestly. I’m not like everyone else. I think we should be moving panarin not in a 1 for 1 superstar trade. But we should be looking for a team to take him on that has a lot of depth pieces for us so we can rebuild our depth and hopefully get to where we need too be. Columbus has never really had amazing depth. We’ve had good but not cup winning depth. This i think pushes us towards that. Maybe look at the deadline for a good rental too send us over the top</div></div>
Can’t see CBj holding onto him past the draft if they’re truly going to trade him and instead moving him mid season, unless you guys end up outside the playoffs. He’s too big of a piece to move on from at that point, especially fighting for a playoff spot in my opinion. So i think it’s either this week or he plays out the season as a blue jacket

As a Pens fan here.... Yinz would be scary good if u got Hoffman. IDK about that Dallas trade but if u can find a way to get rid of Poostinsky #17 it would help a ton. Id just keep building around PLD , that kid is the real deal and will be a great hockey player for years.
