I really didnt think this was an outlandish idea to people on an ACGM site. Literally HALF of a trade is the Team Needs, the other half is the value.

So fine whatever the value is IDC, but the leafs fans really offered Carlo for Kapanen, like what? Its mind boggling that so many people just want to argue on this website and not take constructive criticism

Either way, my point has been proven, people arent thinking about the Team Needs. So NO: Bruins will not trade Carlo to the leafs (or any team) unless they get back a top 6 forward

Yeah, but aging goalie are really weird, it is so mental, so it’s pretty hard to tell, but bruins will have the money if he need 7.5M, I feel the backup will likely be Vladar, but Swayman, could really surprise me, he’s been a beast in college.

But yeah as has been said:

Studnicka makes the team
Zboril is worth at least a middle 3rd still (probably a 2nd still, remember, he is stuck behind Chara, Krug, Griz, Lauzon, Urho so he just isnt getting the chance to play, its not about skill)
Moore will only get out a 6th or 7th

Good RFA and UFA deals though

OVERALL: Pretty good, just fix up those trades and slide Studnicka on the 3rd line C (which i see you have done lol my b)

Exactly. Its about how you think about it.

Sabres can trade to a rebuilding team and get a big piece out of it, or they can trade to a contnder who isnt gonna give up a huge piece.
This trade is the perfect middle. Getting a bunch of solid young pieces, and a really good piece in krejci that they can flip (to a team that we would waive for)

Future top 6 (maybe elite) Center in Beecher / Studnicka
Top 4 Dman in Griz who can do even better when he isnt behind Krug and Chara
Top 4 Prospect in Zboril who will actually get the chance to play in Buffalo
1st rounder
and oh yeah one of the best second line Centers in the league (who would play 1st line on a quarter of the teams in the NHL)
