Garland
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JumboJoe</b></div><div> to being fair given Labanc's value is pretty close to Garland's and the ask for Labanc is probably a late 1st. I agree Garland has a little more so we might have to do something like switching the 3rd to Colorado's 2nd and maybe add Chekovich but this isn't that far off.</div></div>
Why do you think Kevin Lebanc's value is close to Garland's? Lebanc's best season was last year and he was our 6th leading goal scorer, this year the team did worse he was our 5th. He has massive defensive holes. Why do you think our 5th best goal scorer who takes many lazy penalties is pretty close to Garland who is their best. Again they Coyotes are a total defense team very little offense and on that team he out scored Kessel and Hall and had more points than Lebanc.
A 1st a 2nd and a prospect that's stalled this year is a better trade I guess. But it just feels like people don't understand the value of picks. Picks are an opportunity not guaranteed value. Having a NHL player producing at 3rd on the team level, statistically you are very unlikely to get a replacement for that from a 1st or 2nd. The 2nd value of picks is they let you trade current talent for talent in a later year. But they coyotes are trying to get better now. They want to make the playoff now. They aren't in a retool/rebuild. They are going after high value players like Hall. Their interest in picks right now is lower than their interest in players who make them better today.

Garland
Is this a wish? like a dream trade? If so disregard the following.
If it is serious I'd like to point out he's their leading goal scorer. He is a 23 year old winger who out scored Phil Kessel, Taylor Hall, and Carl Soderberg. In return for all that you get a 1st round pick (The opportunity to try and find someone as good as Connor Garland but its unlikely), a 4th line Center who's played 1 full year in the nhl, and a 3rd round pick. The trades a joke.

Burns to forward
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>Not to mention he then when out and got 2 more UFA RD.</div></div>
Yes I did because it is much cheaper to get 2 good bottom 4 right D. Then to get a top 2 RW that can score. Most of these are using Fast who has a career high of 13 goals and has never stayed healthy for all 82 in his career. Also having a flat cap makes it a great market for 1 year veteran contracts.
Also I agree the likelihood burns goes to forward is low. This is a what if? and what could I do with a roster where he did. I know DW's philosophy is D men are more valuable than forwards cuz they play more mins. He is extremely unlikely to put burns as a F. However I'd say Burn's defense is the part of his game thats suffered the most and putting him to Forward mostly solves that.

As Herb Brooks said Again
I just can't see a world where Noesen outscores Sorenson and bumps him to the 3rd line. I also think we won't get Greiss for that amount.

Realistic
I do not understand why so many of these have Gambrell out of the lineup for True. In no way is that realistic. Even with all the rookies that played for us this season True was not the 1-5th call up.

Most realistic scenario next season part 3
I normally wouldn't lay into someone this hard but you called it "most realistic"
I don't understand these trades. We just give them a 2nd for a 3rd. Stalock is a statistically worse goalie than both Khudobin and Lehner and both are UFAs. Why would u trade for a worse goalie when you could just pay a free agent. Then lets say you dont get any of the ufa's you want why wouldnt you go after Antii Ranta or Darcey Keumper since they want to bring up Aiden Hill. Or PIttsburg who have Murray, Jarry, and DeSmith. Hell even Vancouver has Domingue and Demko and one of those 2 is out the door when Markstrom comes back from LTIR.
if you did want to trade for an NHL goalie the going price for a NHL'er is not a goalie prospect and a 3rd, thats nutty.
Also with Johnsson, if we wanted a guy who's had 1 20 goal season and a career high of 43 points why don't we just pick that up in free agency especially at a cap hit of 3.4mil easily done without the trade.
and for your most realistic lineup you bump out Gambrell at 4th line center for true who wasn't even our 1st call up guy. You also have Marleau playing 4th line left wing. No idea why our most realistic 4th line isn't Noeson, Gambrell, True.
