Edm won’t trade two thirds for that. We wouldn’t want either for free.

Weegar is better and cheaper than Rielly and not a UFA next offseason. I don't think the Panthers would do this even if it was the Leafs giving away those picks

Yeah, pretty much exactly. This is awful, must've forgotten the retention, should probably assume a 3 million dollar retention. Maybe add another left d just to push it over the top.

Realistic Eichel Trade
Drop Patrick for Krebs. Krebs is 100% the current sticking point on the deal. Buffalo shouldn’t take a package without him and I’m sure Vegas doesn’t want to move him. Lot more pressure on Vegas than on Buffalo. I think Buffalo gets Krebs eventually

Eichel also isnt an unknown commodity, his neck injury is blown out of proportion, and what he provides on the ice is very well known

They have already committed to getting a teams top prospect they aren’t going to back out now and settle for B/C prospects.

Lets try Eichel again
This is literally the least amount of cap space I've seen left
IMO nothing is worth retaining 3 mill for 5 more year but that could be me as I hate dead cap when looking at rosters
I just don't think this trade really makes the oilers better. You'd be better off giving up all those assets for someone like demko or hellebuck. or give up half that for Varlomov possibly of kakkonen
If you're going to give up so much draft capital offer sheet Peterson
This team is done when Nurse's 9.5 kicks in

Counter-offer
Turcotte, Kaliyev, and the Kings 2022 1st
For
Kaprizov
Take it or leave it. LA isn't prying Kaprizov out of Minnesota for anything less than that.
Also, since when has NHL 21 ever served as an ounce of credibility when it comes to actual value in regards to actual trades?

Wild are close or are making headway on 4 or 6 year's deal with kaprizov. You can't offer a bunch of crap then be like wild would be dumb to say no

They are non decisive compared to the likes of Björnfot, Vilardi, Kaliyev, Turcotte etc. Those who Wild might actually be interested in trading Kaprizov for.

Giving away 8 pieces for 1 means you need to tighten up the package. Instead of 8, give the Wild 3 or 4 pieces of the same value.

There sure is pieces. A lot of them. Value-wise thinking, Arizona could get Byfield if they gave all of their 15 second-round picks to you. Would you do it?

So basically all of LA's not-decisive players and prospects for the MVP of Minnesota...
Just have to wonder why they'd do it... In comparison this is the dictionary definition of quantity for quality deal.

If Zucc would waive
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Amakoue</b></div><div>Wild will not trade any longer for eichel. They have made move to make that clear. It's abundantly clear Zuccarello isn't waiving, neither are wild taking him from kaprizov who wild are close to a deal with, or soon will be. Take out olofsson from the deal n he does nothing for wild.</div></div>
In a scenario where Minnesota is trading two of their top 6 wingers, Olofsson absolutely does something for the wild.....and also yes I know, that is why this is called "If Zucc would waive", it's an ACGM for a reason
