I think you have to consider trading Fox at his highest value. Remember the Rangers got him for a 2nd and conditional 3rd. I know things have changed but if in January you put up the same deal Rangers do it in a second, Buffalo just laughs.

Then we can LTIR him and sign more players like Tampa🤫jk

I think the problem the Rangers have is the current top 9 is either recent 1and2 picks or players with ntc. I did include 1 in Kravstov and 3 other forwards, a d with power play ability and multiple picks. Who knows where things are going. Fans always value their own prospects higher because they are more familiar with them. PS. I was in Buffalo last week. Been there several times. First time though for Duff's wings. Pretty good. Next time, Anchor Bar

If you look at Stromes stats before the Rangers and now playing with Bread man, Haula is a similar player. I don't need him to replace Strome just be good for 3C. Without bread man does Strome produce at the same rate? Plus Rangers traded Buchnevich for a bottom 6 winger and a second sooooo......

Mostly depth players for this team. Who are you taking out in the top 9 or top 4 d to put them in on the Rangers? Buffalo is a different story. They actually get a chance to play

They are meant to be. I don't think they have arbitration rights yet. If not there is still over $3m left in cap space so you can bump some up. I did it to get an idea of where they would be next year with rfa's and cap left. This could give an idea of what Drury can and can't do this year.

I get what you are saying about landeskog at C but he takes 500-700 face offs a year at 56% and good on defense. I guess I really don't want to pay denault $6m like I have been seeing. Drury is up to something if he is shopping Strome. We are all just guessing.

Still have$10m left and cap should start going up. Landeskog at $7.5 is better than$10 for Eichel and giving up a lot of assets.

I get what you both are saying but technically Tampa was over the cap by $18,000,000

Secondly, trading Chytil and Jones for a 3rd defender who is essentially a 2 year rental is absolutely bonkers.</div></div>
It wasn't so much of what they are giving up but the roster they need to build. I think Buch went because they had 3 top 6 rw for 2 spots. I don't think Kraken do a first for Chytil. He had a few good moves last year but constantly was getting knocked off the puck. He's a big boy too.

This is pretty close to what I have been posting so obviously I love it. 😉 Didn't really think about Dvorak. I like Coleman and Goodrow together. Also like that Coleman and Kreider can play on top 2 lines if kids need a break (full nhl season). I like Soucy so you can play Nils. That's a TEAM. LGR

That's why I put that I didn't like it for what it does for the rest of the team. Guess I should have put the rfa's. I'm not saying Eichel is not good. Just that we should change everything just for him. And there will have to be more changes because of the rfa's. Can't keep them all.

Nils and Zac Jones may be a good pair in a year or 2 but 2 rookies for 3rd pair? Drury is looking for a LD with a few years under his belt. I even wouldn't mind Ryan Suter for around $2m a year for 1 or 2 years until the kids are more prepared.
