Thanks...was not aware of the rule..
and make a lot sense, feel kinda to easy while proposing it that way.
And of course, depend of a lot of interprétation and "appréciation " on X player, we could argue their valor ...and would certainly be less objective at a certain level.
So...Edmonton wont win any cup ...to many bad contract. It sad because would love to see McDavid and Draistl play entertaining playoff.
Anyway as a Habs fan..would prefer trade Price (some salary retainand) Chiarot to Colorado for Girard and Kuemper 1st and shizzzzz.

They have some interesting prospects and bourgoult could be their 3rd line C theyve been looking for. I do think they should go after Chychrun and honestly that proposal isnt that far off from what the yotes are asking.
Edm biggest problem are all the bad contracts they have (keith, ceci, mikko, kassian, ryan) and is the biggest reason they dont have any dept.</div></div>
Agree for long term with the goalie you mention.
But they need to win now.
We could argue and maybe im wrong...but if we make a survey within player and management..Price would be top of the list.
In my trade proposal i retain 5M on Price salary...dont think Edm could refuse that.

Don’t need an old goalie with a big deal who’s missed the whole year thus far. Just doesn’t make sense</div></div>
Habs have almost no team last year...
Offensive ...ranking 25?
Défensive...ranking 20?
Goalie...Price
OILERS Offensive almost the best, def minimum same as habs...
The différence ?...
Price bring Habs to final...beat To, Win, Vegas.
You should be exited that Price havent played yet this year...will be top shape.
If Edmonton or Colorado land Price, that team win the cup...or at least in final .
Edmonton without Price...one or two round at best.

Why trade him, would never have a good return .
4th in the league (or near) for the shot ratio for/against, when he is on the ice, just after Marchand Bergeron and Pastrnk...with the worst team of the league ?!?!?

If Chynchrun is on the market they wont have much more than this....if im Arizona i keep the guy.
For the Oilers Mtl trade, i dont agree...there is 8M retain...they dont need any player given..and are finaly contenter whit Price...if not they will loose forever and ever and ever...Price beat every team way way better than the habs last playoff...the team that will land Price will win the cup this year

Bad trade?...ok why ?
Oilers are way better whit my proposal.
They aint going anywhere rigth now.
Just say bad trade is easy..propose something .
Everybody can writh bad trade on every post .
Almost everything i read seem realy stupid, i dont reply on those.
My proposal is realy big and almost impossible because GM are to shy...
But your reply is useless if you take time to respond but add nothing.

I have start with...I understand your statement
...do you ?
After that, of course Avs can continue their path with a lack of grit and stop playoff before the final.
Weber, Edmunston, Chiarot, Petry are less good than Makar, Girard and Toews
..Grubauer almost same as Price
..the offence, way much better than the habs.
So hockey genius..wass happenin ????

I have summit a Habs Avs trade..maybe to adjust, but the main idea was that grit thing.
To much pretty good D but in the same style.
So maybe...
Chiarot-Toews (Girard , but dont think possible )
Gallagher 25% salary retain-Kadri (put avs in trouble )
Adding one of Habs best D prospect Harris (hope not)
Ghule or Norlinder...the first 2 mention will have better carrer than Toews but not short term.
Will had a 1st pick just because Habs need a D puck mover and a another center for short term result.

Understand your statement.
But they need a Chiarot after the series desapointement, and they have to much pretty fkn D that play the same type of game, they can afford to loose Toews. Even more Byram coming and adding next year Harris (hope they dont choose him) Ghule or Norlinder . This year after my proposa trade, Girard, Chiarot , Byram and Murray. On the left side

Kulak is really not that bad..but with all the other defenceman available maybe not my pick, but a least he would be tradable for some draft pick, if not, you take a guest on Fleury.
If you really want Danault, he is gonna be UFA, you can offer him a good contract next week, even if you offering before the other teams he will wait to listen other offers.

If its the case, i dont understand.
Dont think you need to pick him, if your willing to pay more than Habs offer (6 year x 5M). I really dont see any team offer more.
So pick someone else and wait to offer him a contract next week, he is UFA.
Really like the palyer but not worth more than 5M.

Think Drouin will never play again for the habs..to much distraction around "his situation " ..sadly because really good skill, maybe wont achieve is potential, but if he does, it will be aside Crosby or McKinnon
And for Gally, after loosing Price and Weber there is no way Bergevin move him...the guy was crying last year when he sign the little warior.

Need that one year , hoping Malkin give it all for next contract.
Normaly wont offer him another one.
Will need cap space eventualy, for my young guns.
With expérience aquire this year, adding Hamilton, Grubaur and Malkin.
Think habs could make another run...there is so much good team out there.

Think was paying big time, just dont want to make easy fantasy trade.
Glad to see that could make some sense, think Pitts need a change.
Kk could have good future even more learning from Crosby.
Drouin would have a fresh start and could put great numbers playing with 87.

Im curious, do you still think Buffalo will have the fare return on Eichel ?
Long time on trading block, nobody seem to give a fare deal, expectations need to be lower even that we surely agree that this guy is one of the best in the league.
If im Buffalo, i make a pitch to Florida, they need a shock, stalling for years.
Go get Huberdeau, even if he is a bit less good, and maybe have to give first round pick to..., i dont think Buffalo will get a better return. (Consider Huberdeau contract )
