Don’t remember if I asked you this brother but why exactly do you hate Blake so much? I know you think I’m a Blake guy, I’m not yet he’s made some mistakes, but he’s also helped build quite a future. So I haven’t exactly made up my mind. Lombardi made some goofs too that I didn’t like but the end result was 2 cups so end result being how could I not like that. Every GM makes some horrible moves. As all of us on here know sometimes a trade is all about perspective lol! Or maybe you just don’t like him and don’t know why 😂😂I get that too, some people do that to me. Just curious.

I’d hesitate giving up Roy. I think him and MacD are the only D with some edge to them. He’s come a long way this year imo. Maybe throw one of our extra 2nd or thirds in there instead. Or walker maybe. I wouldn’t want too many guys that are similar. But the rest I agree with. Kupari doesn’t seem like he’s gonna make a big impact, Pro and Grunion don’t seem to fit and we are loaded with D so Durzi isn’t a huge loss.

Never said they weren’t good! Just that your team will implode. After Tavares and co have 2 cups we will talk! All joking aside I respect you defending your boys just like I’m doing mine. Just a little friendly banter bro nothing personal. I do this every day at work with a Toronto fan, since I can’t go to work I had to get my fix! Well done. Calling a truce lol

As far as Muzzin being your third best D....maybe 2 years ago, Drew Doughty got absolutely caved in defensively this year, and that started last year. so no, he's not better than Muzzin anymore, at least defensively (or offensively since Doughty got one more goal and padded his assist total with secondaries in significantly less games) but sure, go off.</div></div>
Ok so you named 4 good players. Point made. Mathews will fizzle out cuz he can’t keep his pants on, Tavares has a few more years tops. Marner will get clobbered cuz he’s a little person and Nylander will be traded well because quite frankly they F’ed up the cap and no one else has any value. Lol

Dude we have a great future and I’m totally content with where we are and they guys that have got us here. I’d be really frustrated to be a Toronto fan right now. Those 3 11 million dollar players are gonna have them in pickle for years

Now back to LA, they might rebuild, they might not. They have some comedically bad contracts to work around that belong to rapidly declining players that go on for years. Any rebuild that comes from the Kings is going to be several years in the making. More than 3 easy, but if you'd rather have that than be within earshot of being a contender than sure, you do you.
lol, three good players.</div></div>
Yes 3 good players. Remember your best defenseman was our 3rd best D and your Best goalie was our Backup and your only player with any heart was on our 4th line. I love you Cliffy!!!!!!!! Yes I’d much rather have a rebuild then 3 overhyped players that will never win. As far as our “bad contracts” they will all be off the books before we have any issues with the cap and Doughty will still be better then anyone on Toronto’s D.

My opinion carries just as much weight as yours, and if mine is silly, well then you sure are in for a surprise about your own. .</div></div>
Lol all I know is I’d rather be LA then Toronto right now. 3 good players and no cap does not end well. Leafs are gonna disappoint, LA is gonna rebuild and be great again as a team.

Your team had an extra what, like 50 *****ng years. When all the Canadian teams were just handed the best players. We’ve only been around 53 in a much larger league. I wouldnt brag about winning when there was 6 teams. Regardless we won’t have cap issues anytime soon so good luck with your 3 good players.

Your talking about your goalie on one of the best teams in the league vs our 2 cup goalie on a rebuilding Team. I’m very satisfied with our situation. Quick earned whatever his contract is. He’s gonna be a great mentor to Peterson who is an absolute badass. I loved Campbell and there’s a major reason he was expendable.

You’ve obviously never watched Peterson if you say he sucks. And Quick, I agree last year he was horrible, that has not been the case this year. After the first month he’s looked great. He’s a perfect backup for Peterson right now. Carter can play any forward position really. I think he looks better as a wing now that he’s lost a step. But he was right with Toffoli in goals when Tyler was traded. He had a good year.

Serg! But to be honest I’ve seen him play a lot more then DeAngelo. But on top of that his age factors in too. Figure if he’s this good at 21 he’s prob still got a little room to grow. Plus gives us more years with him hopefully

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bf3351</b></div><div>Ah yes I love when someone from another fanbase tells me what my team needs and doesn't need. The closest the Kings will get to a lottery pick is this draft. They've seen there worst seasons and the next few will be a lot better. Kings already have the best pipeline in the league and can afford to lose next years 1st. They already have 2 2nds and 2 3rds for that draft. Kings have Turcotte, Vilardi, Anderson-Dolan, and Lizotte which will all likely be full time NHL players next season. Along with Bjornfot and Anderson. Kings biggest holes in the pipeline is Defense and wing. This draft we'll hopefully get Drysdale or Holtz which helps. It makes more sense than you think for the Kings to acquire one of Sergachev or Deangelo. Everybody thinks that the Kings are more early in there rebuild than they really are. Ever since Vilardi got called up the Kings went 8-1-1. He got 7 points in 10 games and the whole team fed off of his energy even the older players. There will be a huge good quality youth injection next year and I'm willing to put money on the Kings not being far from a wild card spot by the end of next season.</div></div>
Agree. Kings can lose that first and survive. Sergachev being 21 and his skill level basically replace that first. Especially after looking at past drafts recently and seeing just how many guys never make it or never develop into their first round potential I’d be ok giving up the first.

Could very well happen. I guessed Walker, Kempe, Frk and Prokhorkin would be traded based on them being older and being moved out as younger blood came up. Also those forwards I picked fit the lower half of the lineup better imo. Think Clague may get taken in the expansion draft but I agree with you in a way because there are so many youngsters it could play out a million different ways. Like I said I was basing off pure potential and everyone reaching their ceiling which we know won’t happen for all of them. But it’s exciting to have so many options. I’ve been a kings fan since before Gretzky and I can’t ever remember seeing this many guys with very good nhl potential.
