Segs has a NMC and it’s guaranteed impossible that he waives it to Buffalo. If prospects like Krebs and Schneider are untouchable then so are Oettinger and Harley. Dallas are the last team to go after Eichel.

Weegar
Fair value, and works if you're confident Weegar can play top pair minutes on his off side.
For now, I can't see Debrusk getting moved out unless they have plans to bring in another top 6 forward since Marchy and Pasta are missing the start of the season.

You traded Alex Nylander to get him and somehow think it would take Mitch Marner going back to trade him? Sure he's talented but he scored 15 points last season, he's by no means a stud defender, most certainly not the same caliber of a player as Marner. Come on now people, let's put the Leaf hatred aside and be sensible here.

Saad to PIT
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MJ23</b></div><div>I mean PIT just traded a 1st, Addison and Galchenyuk for Jason Zucker so I'm not sure how this is an "absolute gross overpay"...Maybe didn't have to include Murray, but he's probably gone to Seattle anyways...Plus Addison is probably a better prospect than Legare at this stage so wanted one more piece to solidify...</div></div>
Zucker was also signed to a team friendly extension. I would get the deal if it was:
Bjustad, A first, Legare
For Saad extended.
But when you add Murray it is Just a gross overpay.

this dude isn't a hawks fan. I think this is an overpayment by Pittsburgh but its a lot closer than the 2nd round pick for Saad half retuned like you think he's worth. I've mentioned it so many times before. Saad will be PPG on Crosby's line and he will most likely resign with you guys. I would prefer we get Jarry and not Murray but that's just me, and the 1st in this deal should drop to a 2nd

Binnington had fewer before the cup win, though that obviously got him some more leverage. If Pittsburgh's trading Murray, Jarry, and more importantly his agent know their plan is for him to be the starter though, he'll want to be compensated as such.

Hell youre right. I was going off memory of the ARI prospects and I knew he was late round 2019 draft. He had a bumper year last year, Finish rookie of the year.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Buffsbrain</b></div><div>I think a lot of teams would take a 6.5M cap dump with a prospect. It'll be interesting to see how valuable dumping cap becomes and how much it will cost for teams with a tight cap</div></div>
A 1 year deal like Stepan will cost a 2nd or a B level prospect that is almost NHL serviceable (1-2 years away). Something like Eriksson in Van-city might be a tad more expensive to move.
People will try and compare the TOR-Marleau move but that wouldn't be fair as Marleau was immediately bought out because he wasn't needed in Carolina (and Carolina had both cap space and money to burn). Melnyk wouldn't want to just buy someone out because he doesn't have the money to spend on a move like that. Stepan will be used as a buffer 2C (1A-1B option with Tierney). His contract also isn't 6.5 million in actual money (5 million in cash = 3 million in bonus, 2 million paid over the season) which is attractive to Melnyk. Dorion might actually have to add a 3rd for ARI to pay the bonus money owed...

Giving up a first for Gourde is an overpayment. Gourde won’t be given away but should be much cheaper. That package should easily get you the rights to Cirelli.
