I was saying that they are both equally capable goalies. A Price/Holtby tandem would sound great but I prefer Price/Allen. I think it's a good deal though for Vancouver, they get a good 1A/1B tandem with him and Demko. Especially when you consider Murray's contract at over 6mil.

Talbot signed for 3mil and Holtby for 4 million. I wasn't expecting Murray to sign for more than 5 mil.

That's how much MTL is paying for Jake Allen, not bad

It'll hurt if we sign Anderson for more than Domi signed for. People were saying that MB made the trade to save cap so I can't imagine Anderson getting over 5mil. Also, Duclair is worth more than that

Shh... That's a problem two years from now.
But in all seriousness, we could always buy out the last year ir shop him around when the time comes.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>flyersarephilly</b></div><div>Byron is a fine player but I think they'd rather resign Pitlick for a lesser price</div></div>
It doesn't even have to be Philly. Byron is a fast player who can net 15-20 goals. I used Philly but I imagine other teams like Colorado would like a player like Byron as well.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RoyBoy</b></div><div>Juulsen won’t find his way into the lineup. He should, but he won’t. I also never see Kirk putting Hudon on the 2nd line. And Lindgren is gonna be the backup. Again I thought it should’ve been Primeau, but Kirk won’t make that change</div></div>
Ideally, Armia would be taking most of the second line shifts but I think Hudon should get a few shifts with KK on the second. I hope that ends up happening tonight, even if they only play one or two shifts together by coincidence like a staggered line change or something.

lineup game 6
I'm really hoping Juulsen gets a spot in the lineup, he apparently looked great during the scrimmages. I think the lines are good but I'd prefer Weal over Poehling. GHG

Taylor Hall is not worth that much. I like him but that would be one of the highest paid in the league.
Hall is not as good as Panarin in my opinion, Hall's contract should be less than Panarin.
I find it hard to justify breaking up the Tatar-Danault-Gallagher line, it can be a great line.

You never know.
A bit of pressure from the fans can go a long way.
We had Schofield at the all-stars. Change is too slow in the league but a mixed-gender practice scrimmage or showcase game can be a good start.

Then it's even more of a reason to sign them if there's less pressure to make the playoffs.

Healthy lines your thoughts
Thompson over Cousins on the fourth line.
Swap Suzuki with Byron. At least for the time being, Byron was off to a slow start and Domi and Suzuki are doing well.
The Finnish line is always really good.
And I've been liking Chiarot/Weber and Mete/Petry but the opposite is good too.
Also, Suzuki and Tatar on the PP are pretty good.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pinslack</b></div><div>Yes Williams is still valuable, but 100% chance he resigns with CAR.
With this contract, I'd sign Gardiner. He surely asks for more $ and term.</div></div>
If Carolina can't sign him, then I think the Habs should swoop in.
And I don't think Gardiner will get more than this, the most I see is 5.5 million. It half-way through August, I'm sure he will be in the five million range by now.
