Lots of pieces in that Preds deal. The 1st and Lavoie are some really nice pieces for the Preds. Also Lagesson and Jones would be tough to both lose. I gotta imagine there are some tough expansion draft decisions to make if both these deals go through.</div></div>

Rakell is having a rough start to the season which is why it would only cost Savoie & 2nd to get him.

And the way I broke down the Nashville trade in my head was

Lagesson & 1st for Ekholm
Lavoie, 4th & Jones for Arvidsson

As for expansion draft

McDavid, Draisaitl, Nuge, Rakell, Pulju, Arvidsson, Yamamoto

Nurse, Ekholm, Bear

I sort of feel the same way. They could look at a team that’s at the start or mid-point of their rebuild. Teams like Arizona, San Jose or Chicago who don’t have a lot of cap space or future pieces could possibly move a solid piece for futures
