Playoff push

But if its a deal breaker I would throw in a 4th.</div></div>
it might be something the canucks look at next year, but DJ has been everything we have wanted, plays up and down the lineup, he contributes a little bit, fights, hits, apperently a great locker room guy, the kinda guys we need, I think a similar offer would be available at the next TDL if not more. If he gets 30-35 points next year, he could get a 2nd or a prospect, but honestly I dont mind your trade with the 4th

Playoff push
I think there’s a handful of teams who’d give a first for Wilson. I’d say you’re adding something like Portillo and Kisakov on top of that

I think that Joshua proides more value than asplund so I think the canucks decline but thats nothing a good ol' 3rd round pick wont solve

Meier
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MayDay19</b></div><div>Absolutely NOT, Meier is a very good player, he is not one of the elite players in the NHL. If someone says he is elite and we base this off points the Sabres would have 4 elite players based on Meiers point output this season. Meier for Ostlund, Buffalos first and 2nd in 2023 and thats it.</div></div>
Agree...3 pieces max

Deadline moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MayDay19</b></div><div>I want to know your reasoning for the Buffalo trade, Casey is only 2 years older than Farabee at 24, and he has 8 more points than him on the season. That would be an even trade straight up, maybe buffalo has to throw in a 4 or 5th. Why in the world would you think you would get Lyubuskin, Rosen (an A level prospect) and a 1st and a 2nd? I have to assume this is a joke maybe??</div></div> Fifteen months older.
Some of the trades I see here defy logic, but this one is insanity.
Asplund has two more pts than Greenway this season, yet Buffalo is adding a depth forward and a fourth.
Bryson has had a difficult season but so has Fabbro.
It would be foolhardy to trade Jacob, Johnson, our best 2nd round pick and Weissbeck for a reclaimation project.
Wait, is this post put together by Tim Murray?

Next Season

I am looking for nasty but we can't get slower. May need to go back to the drawing board. Want guys that can skate but also play with an edge.

Move over Adams
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MayDay19</b></div><div>You dont want this team to get tougher and harder to play against? You arent sick of watching opposing teams punch Dahlin in the mouth? You think this team would do well in the playoffs when its thunderdome and anything goes? Did you watch the Calgary game last week, 1st period they tried to skate with us and went down 2-0, 2nd period the just decided that they were going to beat the hell out of us and they did, they owned us both mentally and physically, as Craig Rivet mentioned in his podcast their 7th toughest player is tougher than our toughest player. The recipe is simple, if you want to beat the sabs just hit them until they give up. These trades give us a backbone, it gives us pushback and it gives us a 4th line that can change the momentum of a game along with a dman that will actually hit and defend 26 and 24 when they get attacked. if you cant see this is what they need than you will never get it..</div></div>
Oh no, I see it. Plenty of guys up front that don't hit. Not many can score 30 while making under 5 million. I'd start with mittelstadt. You can have Bryson too, and if you want to ante up and replace jokiharju with somebody who is better and more physical, I'd like that too.

When you Average a little over 50pts a year and you are still a Negative it shows something.

I agree with him being something the Sabres don't have, and I know who he is. He is having a down year big time compared to last year. I don't think a 2nd is to far off and change Hino to a Decent Prospect.

Jackets say yes and immediately call for cakes and fruit baskets to be sent to the Sabres front office. If that's not enough, I hear blackjack and hookers are worth a high round pick and the Jackets will happily pay for them.

He hasn’t been bad, it’s just the fact that Columbus is paying him 16mil over 4 years to play on the 3rd pair.

At the beginning of the year I was very against his signing(still am at that aav) but I will say I've come to appreciate what he brings to the team but sadly it's not worth the 4.5 mil hit...he's been playing top pair/top4 minutes all season and doing an adequate job at it but you can tell he's out matched. He should be a #5-6 dman at best and so not playing against top lines...he can't keep up.
