Hmmm. A solid 2 way center in Kerfoot who can play anywhere in the lineup and manages to produce. Seems to make anyone around him play better. Has never taken a night off. Yes. Let’s trade him for an overhyped one dimensional player.

Actually I think we are okay. Because Lilly is already on the roster and not considered a replacement this works.

I really like your prediction and I share the same ideas as you for the most part, well done! My only issue is that running a 21 man squad is risky, especially on road trips. Maybe the start the season with a 21 roster and once enough cap space has been accrued, they can move someone upon and have a 22 man roster. I still think there is a possibility that Kyle does a couple more moves to accommodate this problem. Moving brooks in the squad and moving Dermott's $1.5M via trade will enable the Leaf so sign or trade for a defenseman with a $1.2M cap hit. Dubas can maybe go after someone like Demers or Gudbranson to fill that nr.6 role.

I really don't know if you can Tatar that cheap. Now if he wants to play with in top 6 six with the Leafs as you suggest, yeah he might. Good thoughts on the lineup.

we need to stop saying "big 4" and just say his name

one is our captain, another is a generational goalscorer, another is top 30 in 5v5 goals/points since 19-20 making under market value and playing 2nd line/PP minutes, and one is the 2nd highest paid winger in the league who leads our PP in TOI despite not having a goal in like 15 months and has yet to score a playoff goal since april of 2019
