Haula at wing
Eakin is kind of an anchor offensively, but if Haula is playing wing, he’s our 3rd best C. Nosek is probably going to be the most improved player in 2018. If Eakin can play decent defense and get maybe 35-40 points I think it will be a good 2 way line.
I didn’t set the PK lineups, I was only looking for standard lines. He may still play C on special teams.
I’m assuming neither Glass nor Suzuki make the team for a few reasons:
-We have 33 roster players for only 23 spots and McPhee hates sending players through waivers if he can avoid it.
-McPhee has said many times that he prefers to ‘over cook’ prospects, coming up now is ahead of schedule, not behind.
-Neither have played higher than Junior, so a year in AHL would help both.

Young Core
Not bad. The trades are all reasonable starting points, no red flags that I see. The sheer quantity of moves makes them unlikely to all happen, but this is the type of rebuild Bergevin should be angling for.

Trade Feedback (Hurricanes)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mikemathis555</b></div><div>Ok - how would you modify this from your perspective? This is why is asked as I’m a Canes fan, and not sure how Vegas views the values of players</div></div>
Well, Vegas could use a RD so they could be a potential landing spot for Faulk if EK truly isn’t going there. Haula just scored 29 goals, so Faulk for Haula straight up might be close to fair. The addition of Stastny does NOT make Haula expendable since Haula will almost certainly slot into one of the wing positions left empty by Neal and Perron departing.
Truth be told, Faulk is probably a second pairing guy so I’d rather keep the goal scorer since goals are the hardest thing to come by. If I’m the VGK GM I don’t make the heads up deal.
If you’re looking for a trade that involves Faulk and Haula I think incentive goes to Vegas in the form of a prospect and upgraded pick. Similar to what you have above, but going the other way.

Knights trade for EK
Not terrible, but probably not close to realistic. I still can’t imaging Ottawa making this deal in July if neither Shea Theodore nor Cody Glass are involved, probably both. Not sure why Toronto makes the space clearing deal either, but that’s minor.

OTT TBL VGK
Why would Vegas give up their two top prospects to get overpaid roleplayers in return? There might be a trade out there involving these three teams, but this isn’t it.

Very very bad trade for Vegas. Not close enough to fair to even recommend changes. Back to the drawing board.

3 Peat - Duchene
One of the better Duchene trades I've seen. Could see the value working for Sakic. Nice work.

Trade with Montreal isn't terrible, just pointless. Trade with Edmonton is insane.

WOW! Lots of crazy moves here. Very unrealistic, but very fun to fantasize about.

VGK by trade deadline
Theodore is the top Prospect in the Knights organization, and might be in their top defensive pairing this season. I'm sure he is moveable, but not for Plekanic and a 2nd. Maybe for a 1st and a mid prospect it is possible. Very poor value to the trade for Las Vegas as is.

29 out of 31 Vegas Golden Knights
Very realistic roster based on current situation. I do think Sbisa and Stoner get moved somewhere, but who knows where and what comes back. Small note, I do think Tuch is more likely to make the lineup than Duke, but you may be right in the end. Great work!
