I like those forward lines man!! I'd put Evans instead of Dvorak however. I wouldn't trade away Harris for that cheap. I think habs should get a 2nd rounder in return for him. Or a 3rd and a prospect

It would definitely be a gamble, thats why i only see hughes doing this offer sheet if he can aquire a player of the likes of greig to boost even more his team. The aim would be for the pick to land around 15th ovr.

ok sorry you have 6 million left for 7 players to sign.... where's the money to lundell? Hence this whole conversation about an offer sheet

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>F50marco</b></div><div>Honestly I wouldn't be worried about them not being able to give him a fair contract, its not like his agent will be going for 6.3M off the bat. They're looking at probably the 4 range which is fair and Florida could easily do that with minimal changes to their roster. Lots of pending UFA's that are not going to resign. They have cap space.</div></div>
Reinhart gets 10, montour gets 7... you then have 4 million left for 7 roster players to sign ahahah delete your comment

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>F50marco</b></div><div>I don't think Lundell would be enticed enough to leave the powerhouse team for a perennial lottery team frankly. Unless he's being snubbed on ice time and being lowballed on his next offer, Im pretty sure he'll take less now to make more later and play in more important games. Its not like he'll get #1 center minutes in MTL. Heck he may not even get 2nd line center minutes depending on how well Dach plays.
If Bergevin taught us anything is that its that OS have to make sense and this one doesn't IMO.</div></div>
He's def getting lowballed on his next contract... panthers have no money to spend. But ya OS wont happen anymore. Would be so smart on MTl's end to do it however ;/ Lindell would easily accept 6.3Mil x3 years

I agree! It just seems like ottawa could benefit from a top 9 forward and a 4-5 th Dman with a 2nd round pick.... Dont get me wrong this move by ottawa comes with norris, pinto, giroux, chabot, batherson all getting traded their useless asses out of ottawa

Plays behind a stacked top6. no opportunities. Shoots a sad 6% this year :O.... 15 mins TOI in his 3 years with the panthers.... No progression... his rookie year was crazy! D+1 PPG in liiga is craaazy too

If ottawa doesn't have the mentality to acquire 2 young nhlers under 23 yrs old and a 2nd round pick for a guy whos a good 3rd liner who can bail you out on line 2 from time to time... they are nuts. Greig aint a star. Kid is shooting 13% this year while avg 15 mins TOI. I like him because he plays the game the right way. He's not worth more and ottawa should retool their team from a-z.

It is not an usual rebuild, but still going to be a team in the top 5 draft spot, still having 2 first and having few new youngsters for AHL. With our actual pool and the depth we have we can rebuild in a 2-3 years window. If we were to add one of Dvorsky or Fantilli to this team next draft we can start to hope to finally be on par to have a team.</div></div>
I agree. Fantilli would be amazing. Habs can have 30 million in cap space next summer.
