Thread: Best Balanced shot (Fingers crossed on some current Injured players)

So this is my team - took risks on some injured players. I tried to balance having a decent team to start, as well as picking up some low cost future RFA's. I would go hard in UFA for either Bernier or Reimer as potential back ups. Left 9 mil on the table for some flexibility. I thought about taking Price, but honestly i don't know how good he will be coming back from injury part way through the season. In 22-23 he will be 35 going into the season - that's playing with fire when you have a 10 mil cap hit for 4 more years.

Thread: The 'Try and have a great First Season' Team

So this is not what Seattle will do as they won't be a cap team. I tried to pick the best possible team for the first 1-2 years with the BPA, as well as taking Bishop to cover until Price is ready to start. It is an NHL line up, although not a great one as you would expect from what was available at Forward. Still, with the S**TSHOW that division will be, roll the dice and maybe squeeze out a playoff spot (After Entry draft, trades)

Mostly a thought exercise, but I will do another more reasonable draft to take into account possible trade bait, more young players to develop, trades involving usage of cap space and UFA signings.

It didn't get a laugh, but a wry smile. Someone decided to put Tuuka Rask under available Toronto Maple Leafs goalies in the expansion draft tool.

Error, or intentional troll? Either way it was pretty good.
