<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>Some may have value in a vacuum, but most do not.

Allen - cap dump. The Jets aren't taking him without being paid to do so.

Harris - LHD. The Jets have too many as is, no value to Winnipeg.

Kidney - average B level prospect, maybe has the value of a 2nd.

Mailloux - ineligible to play in the NHL. Therefore no value

Florida's 1st - basically a 2nd.

So, when you look at all the pieces individually you can see why I'm saying nothing of value or needed by the Jets.</div></div>

I get your points. Here is what I think.

Hellebuyck has one year left. He publicly stated that he wants to win. Unfortunately for the Jets, I think their playoff times are over. They're entering a rebuild. Hellebuyck has one year left in his contract, making it risky for any team trading for him. The possibility of losing him to free agency will lower his value. Teams knowing darn well that he will not resign with the Jets will also lower his value. I doubt any team in the league would be willing to offer up a crazy amount for him. I could be wrong but that's what I think.

Allen wouldn't be a huge cap dump. The dude is getting paid 3.85 mill per season. Not that bad. He's proven that he can get the job done, and the Jets would be happy to keep him on the roster.

Harris is young and they would prefer him to DeMelo or Dillon, which both of their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Mailloux I think will be fine to play in the NHL. He's a stud. Huge dman with offensive and defensive capabilities.

Even if Florida's pick is "basically like a 2nd", still extremely valuable in my opinion. Very deep draft.

I get your points though. Let's agree to disagree!
