In fact, he’s brutal!</div></div>
First off idk why you double replied to this. Second off, he put up 30 points in an incredibly down year for him, and put up 18 points in 20 regular season games with the Wild last year. Is there a decent chance he is cooked, yes, but saying there is no chance that he can't get back to being a 40 point player is crazy.

We probably hold Faber. He showed this year he can grow into an elite two way defenseman roll, and TBH he is probably our next captain. That is tempting tho. This draft is so stacked.

Here's the thing with Jojo. He still definitely has the ability to be a 40+ point player, something about this year just seemed off with him. I still don't know if y'all would want to take him, but he has the ability to be a steal at 2m. Also has the ability to be a waste of a roster spot tho. Its kinda a toss up.

This isn't even close to getting Kaprizov. Like not even close. Minnesota laughs, hangs up, and blocks the number.

He just put up 21 goals and 40 points as a rookie who missed a full year of development due to a heart condition. He played some of the year with good line mates and other parts of the year with not so good line mates. He is going to be a perennial 55+ point player for a long time. He's worth way more than what this offer has his value at.

You obviously don't know JEE's game. Thats cool though. Rest of the league can keep underestimating him while he puts up 30 goals and Selke level defense each year.

Team West
Kaprizov is the best left wing in the west this year. He should be be on that top line with McDavid. Also move Drai to Bedard's spot and get another winger in there. Bedard shouldn't be on here and Drai shouldn't be playing wing.

I like this but would have a couple tweaks. First, I think Rossi is the center on the first line. You can't look at the year he is having right now and not give him top 6 minutes, plus I doubt Yurov is coming over so he isn't going to be able to play with him. Second, where is Khusnutdinov, I assume you moved him to Iowa but I doubt that happens. Third, I don't think Lambos is the first defenseman up. He hasn't done great in Iowa so far, still has a lot of potential, but I think Hunt is up before him. And last, I think that is a bit of an overpay for Bertuzzi. Love that second line and that bottom pair tho!

I would guess Faber and Boldy will. Billy probably wants to put them on the 4 nations team and the olympics but also probably wants them to get some international experience first.

1. No Jonas Brodin is borderline criminal. Like thats insane. 2. I think a Nyquist, Ek, Kempe line could be gross. 3. I honestly think its more likely Wallstedt makes the team over Gus at this point.

The Kaprizov scenario is already insanely unrealistic, but it is made even more unrealistic when you take into account that we now have Khusnutdinov playing with MIN, and Firstov and Yurov close behind. Wild will probably have 4 Russians playing for them in like a year or two.

According to the Athletic, Stutzle is a +8 rating this year. Very good for a young center like him. Ekker is a +15 and is looking like he is still building to his ceiling. I get it tho, Ottawa wouldn't trade Stutzle for this and I don't blame them, its just Minnesota wouldn't trade Ekker for anyone other than Stutzle. Its juts a non-starter for both sides.

Minnesota Wild signed Samuel Hlavaj (2 Years / $950,000 AAV)
We only had 2 goalies signed for next year. AHL depth piece who will probably not see much NHL time if any, but I still like it. Wild have had some success with UDFA goalies (Niklas Backstrom).

He is not at all to blame for our cap hell. The only good move was to buy out Suter and Parise. He made the right decision.
