Would signing a UFA such as Okopso, Ericsson, Perron, be better and keep the draft picks too?</i></div></div> what other reasons, contract ending with markov gives space to resign galchenyuk , and plekanec's contract ends to resign patch and price

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>alwaysnextyear</b></div><div><i>WHOA!! A successful offer sheet?!!! I like it but I think the cap hit would have to be higher for TBay to consider letting Kucherov go. Although Montreal's 9th overall this year is enticing as well.... not a bad trade IF the Bolts are able to re-sign Stamkos I guess.</i></div></div> if they pay Kucherov 7 mil they will have let stamkos go, and might even let go Killorn, wich becomes a great leftwing option for montreal as a second plan, because u can't forget that next year tampa has to resign , Hedman ,Bishop,Johnson, Palat,Drouin, they will have to let guys go and giving an offer sheet to kucherov pushes them to let go stamkos or killhorn, i don't think Stamkos is a good option for montreal unless he signs at rebates wich won't be the case ,, so just hopping to see him go in western conf , while we could make a push for killhorn at a price that tampa just cant afford to pay him because of next year cap space problem , if MTL do sign killhorn it won't be for as much of any viable option available on the UFA left wing (Ladd, Lucic, Eriksson, etc, ) keeping space to for a second option for RW with Okposo , Eriksson, etc

rebuilding down the middle
D is well balanced , center line is verry well balanced ,, but LW and RW are really weak , i love stamkos but i think singing him condems the habs to beeing weak on both sides for a long time knowing that galchenyuk will have a pay raise in 2017/18 , wich brings the habs to invest to much down the center leaving the wings vulnerable ,

Offensive Habs
Add 1.5 to 2 mil to Okposo maybe even 2,5 especially if he sings in MTL . Markov is on he's way down and as we saw this year can't play top 2D min anymore , petry can't assume first D , Emelin CAN'T play on the right , wich is why he dosent play with markov (as we saw in previous seasons) i don't think weakening the D to trade for offence is a good idea long term wise.

Habs
habs strongest position is at center , why add a center ,, i love stamkos don't get me wrong , but why not give an hostile offer sheet to kucherov at 7 mil so that tampa can't match and decide to keep stamkos , instead of fighting with other team for stamkos , it would cost habs 1st 2nd and 3rd pick but if habs stay at 9th ou drop position in the draft i really doubt a player as good as Kucherov can be picked up ,, plus he's only 22 yrs old , then there is some interesting LW comming to habs camp in Lehkonen who is currently burning the SHL playoffs, and there's always that risky option that is Martin Reway . if they don't fill the LW with guys like Carr , Byron and hudon than habs can turn to trade market in the season , and at last i think habs should trade for a left D who can play with Subban to drop markov on the second line but keep him on the first PP unit , scherbak ain't ready for the NHL, and Andrighetto play on the right side

Stamkos
i would love to see Hartnell as 2nd left winger but he has NMC and iam not sure he would lift it to come to MTL . however i dont think trading pleky to aquire hartnell is a good move. MTL's week point is the RW , don't get me wrong they arn't exacly a power house in the center either but that said, with DD and pleky as 2nd and 3rd center will still bring roughly 70 pts for less $$ than stamkos . i think that bringing a RW say like Okposo could bring Gallagher to drop on the second line while giving a big body to complete what would be a verry dangerous line with patch and galchenyuk, . gallagher playing on the second line with pleky and add a guy like hartnell on the left and we have a verry balanced line with a presence in front of the net a physical guy who can burry it and a guy who wins faceoffs and has a good pass, i think MCcarron is ready to play on the 3rd right but also think that Carr is ahead of DLR and Matteau the fourth line, well take a pick whe have a buttload of those guys , on the D well they have to find a way to drop markov on second line and find a D that can take min with PK while still giving the first PP line to markov , with that said and knowing that petry plays on the right side and emelin left side , emelin needs to go because he can't play on the first line with pk and dropping markov on the second makes a hole on the first and puts beaulieu emelin on the 3rd and for me i think barberio sould stay to be 7th D, pateryn fits perfectly as a 6th D . sending ELLER and EMELIN with a draft pick for Hartnell and maybe a draft pick or wtv would be an option especially with rumours saying columbus was scouting and kicking tires on eller during the season , trading for let's say jhonson ,, who could play with pk while beeing a def D would balanced the D , if hartnell can't be aquierd maybe a guy like Erickson could be a good option on the left wing with pleky and gallagher.. but that's just my opignion !!
