Guentzel Stars
have to think it would be bourque not stankoven. and they’d only do it with an extension

As for the TOR trade, I'd rather take draft picks back on Tanev.</div></div>
if it was a sign and trade the stars would honestly consider it. defense is a huge need and as much as i like bichsel, getting a guy that plays a great 2 way game and is a good puck mover is an absolute need right now

Incredible team
this is a hard pass. lindell isnt waiving, and we arent trading stankoven for seth jones even with that much retention. literally makes the teams defense worse and loses a top prospect to do it

Forfeiting the future for a 2nd line player.</div></div>
while i agree the stars shouldnt sell the future for guentzel, he is a great player and would dominate on a line with hintz and robo. guys a playoff performer too and i would love that but again, not a trade we need to make. need a rhd first and foremosf

Stripes and bright stars
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>Bourque is a solid prospect but let's not pretend Stankoven isn't the driver on that line. Stankoven will almost certainly be a top 6 player, Bourque will probably slide into 3C behind Hintz and Johnston.
I don't expect either to be available but if one was needed to win a bidding war it would be Bourque</div></div>
oh sure but i dont think nill would part with a 1st AND bourque. he would just move on to another player.

maybe for both with a little extra if needed. but not for one or the other

they arent trading any roster player for a prospect. especially not a left shot dman. too many in the system with miro and harley already there, and bichsel and grushnikov on the way.

The only way i see the Stars trading Bourque, is if its for a RHD to play with Miro, but i highly doubt they trade him

youre crazy if you think the stars trade robo, without even adding anything. the only way this happens is if mavrik bourque is the main piece. if yall asked for more, nill immediately hangs up the phone

Dallas Stars Ideal 23-24
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheMooterus</b></div><div>Even after getting bought out, Duchene will get significantly more & that's not close for Hertl. Marchment and Miller don't have much value at all. The only thing of value for San Jose is the 2024 1st Round Pick, and that's not enough for someone like Hertl, who just signed a long-term deal in San Jose.
You're also nearly $700K over the cap with only 21 skaters. Stars would need to run a 20-man roster in order to make the cap work here & that's not feasible.</div></div>
well funny enough duchene didnt get that much more and actually signed with us

I think the one they consider is stankoven. yes hes good but you would be trading stankoven for what he could become
