Yeah sorry, I didn't realize how much it was until afterwards. It just explains my thought process for everything and I try to be very thorough.

He traded Reaves but I do agree that they will move Haula before Miller unless one of their right handed defensive prospects is clearly ready for a top 4 role.

I thought he'd be a great fit there. They like to out work their opponents and play well defensively. Eakin's style fits perfectly with that and Ho-Sang seems like he needs a change of scenery.

Whitecloud has been the steadiest guy on the team and is probably more ready than Hague, but Hague has more potential upside.
And Glass ... well stepping in from juniors right into the AHL playoffs he has been dominant and a big reason they are in the finals against a Checkers team that is loaded with NHL talent</div></div>
Oh I'm not denying that they've been productive. It's just a short sample size, so I want to see a few more games before parting with the vets. I also have Glass in the lineup.

Oh I did not know that. I'd still be somewhat hesitant to play them full-time, mostly because the thought of having half the defense being rookies is a tad too risky for my taste when the team is already a contender.

They need to make room for one center and a couple of defense coming up , (Schuldt, Hague, Whitecloud, & Glass)</div></div>
I have Glass in the lineup, and I'd call up Schuldt and Whitecloud if there are injuries. I'm a bit hesitant to just make them starters right away. If they have a good preseason and are effective when filling in for injured players, then I'll promote them full time and ship out a vet or two. Same goes for Hague.

I'd give him at least some time in the AHL personally. I'd call him up if there was an injury and if he did well I'd trade away one of the vets.

In the AHL, he can be great without much pressure on him. But when he gets called up, he just doesn't look comfortable and lets in a lot of weak goals. He's got the tools, he just needs to get over the pressure. Stolarz could be a better option.</div></div>
Yeah, if he works with the right coach or psychologist though he should be able to get over those mental issues.

That's fair. I imagine that move wouldn't be made if Comrie hadn't shown improvement throughout camp and the preseason. If he doesn't I'd target another backup through trade, or perhaps sign Stolarz, as he's likely the only backup in my limited price range

He’s spent 3 full seasons there, plus the bad 4th year. The first 3 years were pretty good. I am slightly concerned about the down year, but I’m hoping, and somewhat expecting, and change of scenery to a better defensive team to help him bounce back. This is one of those moves that either makes me look like a genius or gets me fired.

He’s splitting with Talbot. 40 ish games a piece. Korpisalo should be ok. If not, Talbot can take over. He’s only had one bad year on a bad team

I don't see the Yotes trading away one of their top dmen when he's young and on a good deal, even if they get a suitable replacement in Maatta. JR also said Malkin is untouchable, he's not going anywhere.

I think they have enough pieces in place to at least make the playoffs. It’s a gamble, but one I’m willing to take when the core group is fairly young
