big moves in nashville (v.2)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>StLHockey</b></div><div>My two first thoughts are JT will get more money. The Blues, Sharks and Canadiens all have cap and a need. I’d say 11M is a good starting point. Also you are much more likely to get Nylander from Toronto than Marner. No reason for them to trade a cheap sure thing for a prospect no matter how good he is. Also you’d be better off offering Johansen to MTL and Ellis to TOR. You’d obviously have to rework the deals but that better meets the needs of their teams.</div></div>
I agree with the change in trades but for Tavares I think he will take it because he will be 31 when done and should have a cup so he can still cash in. But thanks for feedback I will forsure make a part 3

Healthy Suter makes the team, not so sure about a healthy Parise.</div></div>
This is assuming these players are healthy and want to. I know that some of them are injured or not interested but this is just a mock if they all were able to.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DoctorBreakfast</b></div><div>Lehtonen put up a .912 last season and showed he can still succeed in a backup role, while Ward put up a .906 behind a defense that doesn't give up a lot of shots. Advantage Lehtonen.</div></div>
I see what your saying but I still stand by Cam Ward over Lehtonen.

Washington Capitals signed Ilya Samsonov (3 Years / $1,475,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Barathrum_Obama</b></div><div>I'm thinking the caps are in a similar situation as Tampa with Bishop and Vasilevskiy - Samsonov has nothing to prove in the AHL anymore. if they trade Grubauer now, they can go with Holtby-Samsonov next year and for 2019/2020 Samsonov could be taking over at best and split the starts with Holtby at worst.</div></div>
I would say more it's more like the pens situation, but add in grubauer. If im the gm I trade grubauer now, have samsanov in ahl for 1-2 years bring up to battle with Holtby and then trade Holtby. if samsanov adapts quickly and plays well I think holtby could be a cap for 1 season or so

NO DAHLIN NO PROBLEM
I dont like Pominville but I think he is a great leader and your team is very young and you do have the cap, and Beaulieu could be traded for a pick, bogosian you could trade him for a pick and retain salary, I feel like green isnt a good defenseman for your team, he is a liability on defense, he is great offensively but your team needs more of a two way guy. and I am such a huge fan of the goaltending changes.

So Baertchi is to much? Could bring him down to 3.5 but I think the others ones are pretty fair.</div></div>
granlund should be a 2 year contract because he isnt proven himself (I think he will just a late bloomer). Baertchi seems like a bad deal although I dont watch the canucks much, maybe im wrong but thats what I think. Stetcher I think should be in the 1.75 mil range.

Flyers offseason option 1
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BigBeardBurns</b></div><div>I’d say u got that value right for B.Ryan at his full contract, but Ottawa said a while ago they’ll only give Karlsson if someone will take Ryan’s full contract. Idk if they still believe that Ryan’s contract will need to b included, but if it is, it will b the full one. If u really need cap space in that Karlsson deal, give Ottawa Gudas or Lehtera or something, but u can’t retain on BR.
Also, with Gudas being a dumbass and Neuvirth just not being healthy or that good anymore, those 2 would get u like a 4th.</div></div>
I agree with this, I think that maybe adding in a unpanned out prospect would <em>maybe</em> get them to retain salary. I also think you could maybe get a third for neuvirth it depends on the team thats trading for him. I think your #1 priority would be to get a <strong>elite</strong> starting goaltender.
