Roslovic is a non-starter. Chevy's already made it very public Rosy isn't leaving Winnipeg.

Would love to see Roslovic back in columbus. Roslovic and Vesalainen are likely prospect/ young player targets from Winnpeg if Jarmo has offered Panarin to them.

NYR TDL
Like the base of the ideas, I think the Nashville and Florida deals are too rich for those teams tho imo. Especially panthers. They'd be insane to move a signed Huberdeau and their top 10 first for Bobrovsky. Preds probably do it if Jarnkrok is not involved. Like the NYR idea, and Gavrikov and Merzlikins coming over soon.

Addressing Depth With Rentals for a deeper run
I feel like this is the year you finally win a series. Bob/Panarin on contract years and the rest of the division is ugly. I think you’ll make it to the conference final and get beat by one of the titans in the Atlantic. ^ I also think Schenn to CBJ would be cool, but I want a little more in return. Nutivaara and a 1st would be cool with me.

I like CBJ, and the blues need a reboot. Since this year is your best shot to get after it, my idea....
Schenn and Bortuzzo
For
1st and abramov
Folino Schenn Andy is a great counter punch to that top line

Panarin
I don't think Toronto wants to trade him. The Leafs held all the cards in dealing with Nylander. Nylander had 2 options sign or not play in the NHL till he turned 27 and became a UFA. So Toronto caved in a little for one reason to win a Stanley Cup. Toronto and probably even Nylander realized this might the best chance to win a Cup at least for the next couple of years. Marleau has a lot of playoff experience which will be very valuable in a long playoff run. Are they going to win the cup this year? I have no idea but they are one of 4 teams I wouldn't bet against. it also wouldn't surprise me if they traded him in the offseason, especially if they don't win the Cup this year.

Panarin Trade
As a CBJ fan I'd love Roslovic. But also I think negotiations start with a first, IMO no way we trade bread and not get a first back unless theres a blue chip prospect.

It is probably fair in value but If you want it to go through you will need to have one of Werenski, Jones, Savard, Murray or Nutivaara

Pesce for Shattenkirk
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>goodjobbjs</b></div><div>(b) whether the Rangers would trade Shattenkirk, a first round pick and a prospect for Pesce
I don't think Pesce is worth Shattenkirk a first and prospect in my opinion. The Rangers would avoid giving up such a large amount. Sure I think they would be interested in Pesce but not at that price. A first round pick for the Rangers right now is most likely going to be a lotto pick.
(c) whether Carolina would reject such an offer.
I don't think Carolina could reject that. Depending on the prospect and how the Ranger are doing I think Carolina would happily take that and flip Shattenkirk at the deadline for even more futures. That's a lot of value going to Carolina.</div></div>
Thanks for the input!

Sell High Buy Low All in with Panarin and Bob
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>goodjobbjs</b></div><div>You need to give up pieces if you want a good return. Muzzin has been a fixture on their top pair for years. Toffoli has been scoring 20+ consistantly for a while now. The roster improves significantly. Something like this needs to happen or the jackets will continue to strive for mediocrity. Once Panarin is gone the window closes unless another player of his caliber is brought in.</div></div>
Just for the future, you can hit the quote button to reply to me.
And yes, I know you must give up good stuff to get good stuff. But this trade is just straight horrible for CBJ. right now, Murray is as good, if not better than Muzzin so far this year, he has been GREAT. Plus Robinson and TFW are great prospects who have tons of untapped potential, and our first is likely untouchable unless we get a guy like Stone or Duchene back. Toffoli is not doing good at all, plus we really dont even need him.
I dont mean to be a dick, but this is a bad trade regardless of how you look at it. Muzzin and Toffoli arent worth our current #2 RFA D, a first, TFW, Robinson, plus Milano and Sedsy who imo arent bad trade candidates. Honestly, our D core is probably worse this year if we trade Murray for Muzzin, and Toffoli has been bad even by Kings fans standards.
I agree I undervalued Muzzin, but you're WAY overvaluing him.
