What is Buchnevichs Trade Value
if buch has a similar season that he had in the past and hypothetically his stats are around 20 goals and around 55-60 points. he'll be in for a nice raise. btwn 5-6 million. it doesn't make sense for the rangers to re-sign him with our depth at RW.
i would think buch's value is highest right now because of his low cap hit. i honestly thought the team was going to trade him during the off-season but that doesn't look like the case anymore. if they would to trade him now i would think at least what Kapanen brought back. even though Kapanen has an addition season with a long cap hit buch is a much better player.
i now think the rangers aren't going to be sellers at the tdl. neither do i think they will be buyers. the team still aren't contenders but they are good enough to compete for a playoff spot. so when they do trade buch it'll be at the draft next season. unless the rangers are able to get a 2c from now until than and he is included in the deal, which looks unlikely. buch's value won't be nearly as good than. i'm thinking a 2nd and a subpar nhl player on a elc or low cap hit.

other than picking lafreniere 1st the rangers off-season has been horrible. idk why they would sign matt martin while they could have had fast for 2 mill a season. having that be said, matt martin makes total sense. i'm seriously staring to have my doubts with gorton and davidson.

Fast to Carolina
great signing for real cheap. many ranger reporters wrote fast was asking close to 4 mill a season. idk why the rangers didn't re-sign fast for this price. gorton's a ****** idiot. i'm very disappointment in my team right now.
carolina fans are going to love fast.

Moving civilian william to keep our depth players
I would accept that as a rangers fan. We’d have to move around salary to make it happen but would be well worth it. Can nylander still play center?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ragsandbluesfan</b></div><div>Brendan smith and michael haley are not shots idc what anyone says</div></div>
why would the rangers hold andersson back? why would they play him over others that were playing better than him? because he was the #7 pick? that wouls show a bad precipice.
the rangers wanted andersson to succeed as much as andersson himself

LIAS ANDERSSON TO KINGS FOR 60th PICK
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan</b></div><div>He's absolutely not. Lias Andersson was a reach pick. He has had several occurrences where he's shown attitude issues. Throwing medal? Requesting a trade? abandoning his team?
Lias has little offensive upside. He's not a dynamic scorer. If he has talented wingers on his side he might produce. Not to mention his foot speed isn't NHL level. Thank goodness Lias Andersson's father is in the LA Kings department because he'd rot in Sweden and we wouldn't have gotten Cuylle.</div></div>
the nhl game is to fast for him. he'll be a very good shl player for the next 10-12 years. he'll make plenty of money in europe. i don't see a nhl career for him. rangers made the right move. if they would have held on to him he would be worth nothing.

he most likely will never be anything near trouba good. trouba was a beast in Winnipeg. looked great in the playoffs this season. he'll bounce back just fine.

rangers aren't in a position to receive cap in return on a trade. cap would have to go back. additionally, the team doesn't need anymore wingers.

teams can't walk away from deals awarded under 4.5mil ish. so if they qualify him he will be eligible for arbitration. the rangers might not want to be stuck with people him 4.5 for 1 season. which would shock me cause that would be a fair deal for him. idk, its confusing to me lol.
