Youth Infusion
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Heiskanen4Vezina</b></div><div>Oh that bottom line isn’t realistic. If Robertson is in the lineup, it won’t be until later in the season, and Nill won’t be trading Comeau, but I would 100% be moving his contract if I was the GM. He’s being paid too much for the value he brings.
Dickinson played both wings during the playoffs and did well on both sides. With Seguin, Pavelski/Hintz, Faksa, L’Esperance, and Dellandrea (coming soon), Dickinson better get used to playing on the wing, because that’s where he’s going to see playing time. Personally, I’d be shopping Radek while he has good value. Dickinson can slot into that 3C role, and play a very similar two-way game.</div></div>
I think Faksa gets traded if 2 of the 3 Kiviranta L'Esperance Dellandrea have solid starts to season cause it opens up a spot and Stars have a need on defense and make trading Faksa easier. Dickinson played his best hockey in the playoffs on the wing so I think he stays there. I just had him on the left side.

I like the lines. I feel like Perry will end up with Cogliano cause of there time on the Ducks together. Shapiro said Robertson is a year away FYI. I like the Comeau and Janmark trades, but Shapiro said Comeau won't be moved. Can Dickinson play RW? I read he's left-handed. Gurianov is the key if he struggles all bets are off and your lines are likely spot on. The best roster you've done though.

Playoffs Upstate
Stars have a lot of depth at left-handed defenseman so not sure they do this trade. And remember Hanzal LTIR salary cap space goes into effect first day of the season.

My Stars 19-20 Final
I like Cogliano with Perry since they have chemistry from being on the Ducks together for 8 years.

Stars Option 2 19-20
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Heiskanen4Vezina</b></div><div>We can protect all 4. Instead of the 7/3/1 route, we’d be able to do the 8/1 scenario. Protect all 4 defensemen along with Benn, Seguin, Radulov, and Hintz. You lose either Gurianov or Faksa.
It would also be a lot easier to trade with Seattle to have them pick someone else, if we protected all 4 defensemen. For example, trade them a 2nd Round Pick in return for them picking someone like Cogliano or Janmark. It’s almost impossible to trade with them if we leave one of our top-4 defensemen open (Assuming we land Karlsson), due to how young and good our defensive core is.
We can add Karlsson and be fine during the expansion, but it likely comes at the cost of a high Round Pick to ensure a certain player gets selected.</div></div>
Right I'm just pointing out the spot Karlsson puts us in. Losing Gurianov or Faksa or Dickinson. And if you go the 8/1 route you also risk leaving the second line forward we sign this off season unprotected like Zucc. And be risky to sign Karlsson for 5 years at that salary with Miro needing a contract in what 3 to 4 years. We can give up a draft pick to Seattle, but we've been hit hard with draft picks.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Heiskanen4Vezina</b></div><div>Karlsson isn’t coming to Dallas for that offer. A Karlsson deal is likely going to run $9M+ (minimum) for wherever he lands.
And yes, I know Texas has no state income tax. That doesn’t mean he’s going to take this much of a discount. He’s still going to run $9M+</div></div>
And don't forget Expansion draft means we can only protect 3 defense man. So Lindell, Miro, Klingberg.
