Debrincat Kane - Detroit

First off I don't think you really watched enough to understand some of the players that took big steps. Jake Walman and Michael Rasmussen really become good players. Also Copp was actually good the second half of the season. And they signed JT Compher. Gostisbehere was another great add and is a good offensive dman. Olli Määttä was very good defensively and Justin Holl and Jeff Petry gives us depth. So they are pretty good on defense. Offensively they have depth at every position. I do think they need to trade for a Zegras or a Pettersson and then Larkin would be a perfect 2C. I do agree Larkin and Raymond shouldn't be top line guys. Raymond needs to have a bounce back season.

How many Red Wings games did you watch last season?

Opening night - Lightning
Raddysh is in the lineup not Syracuse.. playoffs 25:13 TOI says TB coaching staff Choose to give him second most TOI to Sergachev they believe in him. JBB on Lightning TV's "The Block Party" spent 3-5 minutes of a 37 minute interview praising his work ethic and improvement. This and a 2 year one way extension says to me management believes in him too.
Hagel will be with Point and Kucherov
Cirelli, Stamkos probably Sheary.
Barre-Boulet does his usual stick around to final cuts get sent down to Syracuse. Sergachev won't be on the right often unless TB is down late in a game

Good post.
Maybe the Sabres try to sign Tatar, or the lines could be a bit different, and Levi will be on the team but this is certainly an option.

top line is keller-hayton-schmaltz NS just isnt a center
2nd line is prolly right (to start season) give cooley 2 vets to work with, but i see guenther taking kerfoot spot at some point
3rd line maccelli-mcbain or bjug-crouse both did real well last year together
4th carcone-bjug or mcbain-guenther boyd gets left out but i see him as backup in case cooley isnt ready - guenther/boyd/bjug are RW carcone/mcbain/obrien are LW
durzi is RD (he struggled w LAK on LD) see him w moser and valimaki w dumba - both pairs have r/l and dumba & moser are best D and valimaki & durzi are best O
soda is RD but so is stecher y brown (those two might have to play wrong side)
cant wait till start of season

Wow, your over-value of Shillington and undervalue of Vrana is remarkable... I can't get past that to judge the STL trade, that's just insanity...

Re-Draft 2019
Seider developed for 49 games in the AHL and a full season+ in the SHL (41 games plus 13 playoff games).
Raymond developed in the SHL for 77 games (in 3 seasons).
I know Kakko played one full season in Liiga and a few games in LIIga in another year but this post makes
me think about the Wing's development process & if he could be producing more points if he had developed for a
year in a different league whether that be the AHL, SHL, other.

Scheifele to Detroit
Detroit is still in a rebuild. There's zero need to rush it so that first is worth more to them. Also, whats with all the Scheifele trades lately?

He’s had a rough season and people are overreacting like he’s not a guy who can take over games with consistency. He’s had a very up and down year, but past track record suggests he’ll be fine.

I don't hate it. I mean there is no center in the system on the horizon. They're gonna have to do something.

The Scheifele speculation started in December because of a daily YouTube sports show in Winnipeg (ex-TSN radio guys). The host went on a long rant about Scheifele's play and how the Jets should trade him. There have been no insiders (TSN or Sportsnet) or beat reporters saying he is being shopped.

I can't see Winnipeg taking that and even if they did, I don't like it. Sure, the value is great based on current values, but I'm very high on Wallinder and I hate the idea of giving up a 1st.
All value aside, Scheifele just kinda seems like a douche too and I don't really want him here...
