If They Want To Have A Chance
Not sure why San Jose needs to make this deal if they want to compete... Jones and Andersen are pretty much identical so if jones isn't good enough then neither is Andersen. As far as the trade goes the Sharks win for sure. Anaheim won't trade Rakell

Stars - Ducks trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ssudzzy</b></div><div><i>I think there's no way Dallas does this. The ceiling is way too high on Val to trade him just when he is starting to pick up his play. He's fully recovered from his injuries now and has looked like the best player on the ice some nights. He should not be traded and definitely not for a bottom pair defenseman. The defense needs something but not at the cost of Val.</i></div></div>
I wouldn't want to trade him either, Just going off of trade rumors. I would probably trade Guryanov in a package deal instead. Also its not like fowler or vatanen play like bottom pair defensemen... Can you think of a better trade? Val/guryanov package for Buff maybe?

Lmao Sharks want nothing to do with Malkin if that's the price. How does this benefit the them at all?

Ranking the top 10 goaltenders
Only one that doesn't belong in the top 10 in my opinion is halak... But building off your ranking I'd say the next 5 would be Anderson, mrazek, Allen, Crawford, jones.

Malkin Trade. Byfuglien signing
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div><i>Although talent wise it might be fair, just wonder if the Sharks want to take on Malkin's salary and term for another 6 years. After having the Thornton and Marleau with NTC in their line up for years under similar contracts, do they want to continue that policy.</i></div></div>
Probably not but I just did this to see if it would work out cap wise. With Marleau and Thornton off the books a year after this trade, malkins contract shouldn't be too much of a problem

Sounds good to me. I'd make the deal as long as we have someone to replace Braun. Works out for both teams

Have you seen marleau play lately? he definitely still has the wheels... but yea take out jarry and the 1st rounder and its fair. marleau wont get traded though

LW/D-ANA
I like the idea but think it will take more from Pittsburgh. Maybe take out hagelin and just trade pouliot and perron for vatanen. Vatanen is pretty good man and the ducks are retarded if they're planning on replacing him with bieksa, which it looks like they will have to do now that they gave bieksa that contract with a ntc... I still think you should try to trade something else for him though. include sprong or clendening with perron and maybe a filler instead.

It'll take a little more from Pittsburgh but you're close to an even trade. Though I still wont like it and don't think it makes sense from san jose's point of view, especially with hertl filling the 2nd line center role left open by couture at the moment.

Deal At Deadline
Nope. If the jets are in playoff contention (they're looking pretty good so far) they'll keep buff and try to improve their team. If they aren't in playoff contention they'll try to trade him but won't trade him for a free agent in Perron and a bunch of players with no real upside. They'll take sprong or a 1st rounder though. If Bennett and dumoulin prove their worth this season maybe it happens but I don't see it. They'll get a better offer somewhere else

Yup. Guessing it'll look exactly like this with goodrow filling in on the 4th line if Karlsson is still hurt. I wonder if the Torres injury opens the door for Goldobin to make the opening night roster..

the second trade buffalo would take but murray is a lot to give up... you do upgrade to a 1st round pick but I think if I was you I would just keep scuderi and not give up any high end prospects just to get rid of him
